Love scams, a major issue for the Singapore Government. A highly disproportionate number of women over 40 were falling for internet romeos, who were not only romancing their hearts but also their wallets. It’s difficult to ascertain psychologically why women are susceptible to money requests from men they haven’t even met, but this was the case when briefed to tackle this major problem that was costing lonely housewives in Singapore millions of dollars every year. Our film follows the online love affair between Ella and Brandon.


Successful at running a bridal studio, but unsuccessful in love, Ella signs onto an online dating website where she matches with Brandon. Soon begins their roller coaster online dating life. A traveling businessman, Brandon’s work travels end up adding constant hurdles to the two meeting in real life. On the day the two are finally going to meet, life throws them another curve ball and everything starts to unravel. Will Ella and Brandon have the happily-ever-after every couple dreams of?
